Content plugins are used in Joomla to display stuff in your Joomla articles.
YooRecipe and Content plugins
YooRecipe supports any content plugin syntax in recipe preparation field. As a result, you can display galleries, videos, bookmarks or any type of content.
Example with YooSocial.

Make sure the Prepare Content option is set.
Components > YooRecipe > Options > Main Features
- Install and enable YooSocial plugin.
- Create or edit a YooRecipe recipe
- Use the plugin syntax in recipe preparation field: {yoosocial} and save recipe
- Check the produced result
