Use the fine-grained user permissions system
YooRecipe supports fine-grained permissions: access, view mode, edit mode, edit self items, delete self-items... Discover what YooRecipe is capable of
YooRecipe permissions
IMPORTANT Permissions configuration is MANDATORY if you plan to use the frontend recipe submission feature.
YooRecipe uses native Joomla Permissions System.
Components > YooRecipe > Options > Permissions
Available permissions are:
- Configure
- Allow Users of group to edit YooRecipe Options
- Access Administration Interface
- Allow Users of group to
- Create
- Allow Users of group to Create recipes
- Edit
- Allow Users of group to Allow modify ANY recipe
- Edit State
- Allow Users of group to modify recipe status (published, validated, featured)
- Edit Own
- Allow Users of group to modify recipes he created
- Report Comments
- Allow Users of group to Report Comments
- Delete
- Allow Users of group to Delete ANY recipe
- Delete own elements
- Allow Users of group to delete recipes he created

I asked this as a pre sales question and was told YooRecipe could do this, but I'm yet to find that option.

YooRecipe can be used with membership components like JPayPlans. That being said, you will be able to grant access to recipes to a given user group which could be Customers for example.
You must be aware that YooRecipe comes with a set of permissions (read, write, edit), but no permission to email, print or view ingredients/direction exist.
